I’m a patient girl. Everyone says I’m polite, kind, a little timid, and patient. I can out-wait anything. But I’m not too full of myself to admit this lack of spring weather has my furs bristling. How much longer before I see sunshine? How much longer before warmth returns?

My Dad says Spring is here already and some times, it takes longer to arrive at our house than elsewhere. Well, maybe so. I’ve been looking out my window every.single.day. for weeks now and I’m not seeing it. If it doesn’t get here soon, I just might have to get downright cranky, and no one wants to see me cranky.
Oh! You do? Okay… here’s me cranky. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

See? I can get real cranky when I want to be. Just be glad I’m directing my crankiness at our slow-as-snails Spring, and not at you.

To make sure her point is made – Spring, we’re looking at you, here’s a 55-piece online jigsaw puzzle of Ruby’s cranky face. Mom’s best time was 10 minutes and 2 seconds. Have fun!

We’re switching Quint’s go-to canned food incentive from Parmesan cheese to Nutritional yeast (used to be called Brewer’s yeast) because why give anyone all that salt that’s in Parmesan cheese when Nutritional yeast has the same great cheesy smell and no salt? Thanks again, Eastside Cats for looking out for Quint!

Finally, we plan on being slackers this weekend (meaning we’re doing loads of yard work and probably more painting) so we’re taking Monday off and will be back on Wednesday. Have a wonderful weekend!
