We hope you are all okay out there, especially those in wildfire areas and/or hurricane areas and/or anywhere else. There’s a lot going on out there in the world today and we’re thinking of you all and sending our best thoughts. For us, it’s been incredibly smoky here due to the fires way south of us and we’ve kept the house closed up tight for the past five days, plus two days before that when we had a tremendous 2-day windstorm. Mom’s allergies are running off the charts and Quint really, really wants a window open but there’s no fresh air to be found until Tuesday at the earliest. We’ll hope for rain here soon and nothing but thumbs up for you all!

We see about the wildfires on the news every day and it is scary and heartbreaking for those who have lost loved ones and their homes.

I have noticed for a while that I can’t see any comments including my own.
Right now it says 6 responses, but there is nothing there. I wondered if anyone else had mentioned they are getting that happen.
WordPress is having a problem with their comments and throwing the standard “check all your settings” info at us, even though all our settings are correct. Thank you for your patience. This is annoying for us, too!

Comments are not appearing due to a glitch in WordPress. They are aware of the problem but may not fix it for some time. VERY ANNOYING!
