Over the weekend, Dad surprised Mom with a change to Colehaus Cats – Colehaus Cats is now officially Colehauscats.com. Mom was ecstatic as you might imagine. She might even have done a happy dance. She says no one should ever mention that in public.

Anyhoo…she got to work making Colehaus Cat badges (in case anyone wants one). I like mine. It’s got ginkgo leaves on it. And later, Mom took more photos of us. I’m not big on the flashy thing in my face, unlike some little hams I know!

Later still, Dad said he was having trouble getting all the past Colehaus Cats Cat Blogosphere post links redirecting to Colehauscats.com. Mom lamented and wrung her hands in that annoying way humans sometimes do.

After 2 a.m. and no luck fixing the problem, Dad had to call it a night. I couldn’t agree more! I was exhausted! Too much consulting and helping and suggesting and all the clickity-clackity too late cut into my sleeptime, making me a wee bit grumpy.

Dad says he’ll figure the redirect thing out soon. Mom’s trying not to worry. Me? Pffft! Life’s too short. Let’s move forward, shall we?

Kitten Legs Still Growing.

I’m not so little anymore but nowhere near as big as I’m gonna to get! Remember when I was just a little slip of a thing, all rabbit feet and big ears? Well, look at my legs now! Mom says I’m getting too big for lying on the mousepad but she’s got a big desk. There’s plenty of room for the two of us; the two of my long back legs, that is!

Scoot over, Mom. Give a growing girl a little room. And take that clickity-clackity thing with you.

Mom says, “Would you look at that gorgeous striping coming through from under Tessa’s gray fur? Tabby stripes! My heart is melting!”

World Cat Day – Cat Convention.

Happy World Cat Day. What better way to celebrate the day than with an Orange Cat Convention? As you can see, the orange cats first thought, “Hey, what’s Tessa doing here? She’s not orange!” But then the ginger ones mellowed a bit and given the day, went on to think, “Hey, fur color has nothing to do with it. All are welcome!”

They all hung out a bit and played with a nip pillow and tried to get Maxx to join in on the celebration but he wasn’t having any of the sort. He dances to a different drum if you must know, yes, even on this momentous occasion. Besides, someone had to take this photo. We understand how he can point and shoot so well. It’s how he gets the camera lens cap on and off that has us befuddled.
