Mom’s always scribbling in notebooks. Scribble, scribble…what could be so interesting that she has to do it all the time? She’s got entire shelves filled with her scribblings and scribblings from many other humans too. Today, I thought it high-time I checked out her words for myself.

Wednesday Woots!

We’re having an exciting woot-filled week around here!

First off, tomorrow our brother Quint is interviewed about his painting talent by our good friend Dash Kitten from DashKitten.com. We think Quint was trying to act all grown up and all but we know he’s still just a sweet playful, not-so-little boy who dearly loves all his sisters. And his toys!

Over the weekend, we learned that our blog, Colehauscats.com was nominated to SkinnyScoop.com as one of their top 25 Pet Blogs contest! We’re flabbergasted, we tell you. There are some really big, important blogs listed there, all vying for votes before March 31st! Just to be nominated wow-ed us! We wouldn’t know what we’d do if we got any votes. Maybe play with toys and woot all day? Check it out if you would. Thanks, SkinnyScoop!

Speaking of toys, on Monday, we received a great new toy in the mail! Our Mom won it in a BlogPaws Twitter party a while back. It’s called a Play and Squeak “Spring Fling.” It’s a bouncy mouse toy that squeaks real squeaky mousie sounds! Pia loved it so much, she chewed half the tail off the mouse almost immediately…while it was squeaking. That’s so her!

And then Quint stepped in and said, “Nope, that’s MY job! Yums, mousie tails!”

Later, the rest of us sat around looking at the thing thinking, “Hey! That mouse is missing a tail!” That’s so us!

And then, further back than Monday, some eleventy-hundred years ago, we were given awards by those sweethearts over at Twinkletoetails.com and those wonder cats at Kitty Tales (behind the scenes). While we can’t exactly fire our Mom for not posting about this much, much sooner, we can (and did) let her know of our growing disappointment every.single.day by tapping our sharp, ever-lengthening claws on her ~~lap warmer~~ laptop every chance we got. Mom says something else might be coming for us in the mail soon. But we have to wait to see. What’s that? Waiting? Life’s too short for waiting! Woot-Woot!
