My Mom is a fanatic at trying to keep things orderly. Notice I didn’t say she kept things orderly, just that she tries to. Take this blog for example. She put lots of thought and effort into creating it and keeping it going, getting the colors and placement of things just so. She dislikes clutter… just like me! When you think of it, it’s hard to find toys in clutter. So just don’t… don’t create clutter, that is. Don’t look for my toys. That’s my job.
Last month, after our oldest brother ran off to the bridge, Mom knew she would have to do some web redesign. I helped make sure our blog header was orderly and worked properly. I bet you didn’t know, or maybe you did, that each time the page loads, our blog header displays a different one of us in front. Sometimes it’s one of my sisters; Olivia, Pia or Ruby and sometimes it’s me. Other times, it might be big brother Maxx or Tessa or Miss Newton. It’s like we all get a turn at being on top. I like that! It was sad to see brother Seth’s photo removed, but Mom and I both took deep breaths and moved forward. I excelled at keeping everyone’s photo just right and in the right order. I think I understand this PhotoShop thing.
As for all that other stuff: our photo strip and changed colors and advertiser clean up, I left it all for her to work on, knowing that she does that part best. I trust your judgment, Mom. I know you’ll always strive to make us look our very best for all the Internets!
