So the human lady and I were discussing my role here in my favorite room. I like to lie around. I like to nap. I like good, long sleeps. But from time to time, I like to play.
You might think I have strong opinions on what mode of play is appropriate for someone of my age and stature, and you’d be right. For example, play does not involve those other cat-like creatures. Play is all about me. Nor does it involve sharing. See previous sentence. In my limited exposure to the tower in that other room, the room I sometimes like, it seemed as though I never got the whole thing to myself, and since for whatever terrible reasoning I’m not the only one living in my favorite room, having a tower in here just Will.Not.Do. I just don’t think I should have to share.
And then, a miracle happened! That lady brought in this scratchy thing. Oh, how I LOVE this! It’s the best of both worlds. I can scratch, play and nap on it. Finally, someone is listening!
And the best part? That other cat who lives in here, Maxx, well, he has no claws. He can’t scratch on it so I guess I won’t be sharing it! I win!
BWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAA!
