I don’t know what it is about the summer but when it’s warm, I just feel more adventurous. And friendly. Here I am with Patrol Sergeant Zuzu who is off momentarily to investigate the sound of some rambunctiousness in the other room. Turns out we have a lot in common, me and her. We both have a dark stripe down our back, we both have four letter names, we both have “histories.” And yep, we’re just a couple of cats who like peace and quiet. Sure feel sorry for whoever is making all that racket out there.

Grrr, Monday. Worse day of the week. Possibly the worse day humans ever invented, no, definitely the worse day ever invented. Dad goes back to work, Mom goes to work outside, or rushs about making noise or worse, gets out the vacuum cleaner for eleventy zillion hours. All schedules are thrown off including my morning nap which throws off my afternoon nap which indeed, throws off my early evening nap and the whole day is shot. Grrr!

On second thought, Tuesday follows Monday and Tuesdays are quiet. Mom reads to me and gives me lots of attentions and brushings and my naps, oh my glorious, long, delicious naps are… well, glorious, long, and delicious. I suppose Tuesdays would be Mondays if Mondays didn’t come first and then in that case, I’d dislike Tuesday. And I really, really like Tuesdays. Good thing there’s such a thing as Monday!
