Dear Niblets,
Today, you are three years old. Three years old! We can hardly believe how fast the time has flown by and now, you are fully grown cats. Three years ago, after waiting so long, longer than anyone thought we’d have to wait, your beautiful and very, very round mama Zuzu presented us with you four little Niblets – Illy, Viola, Robbie, and Russell.

We are so proud of you! Three years ago, we could only imagine how handsome and beautiful you would grow up to be. How could you become anything but that? We were all so lucky that your mama waited so long to have you because that meant she was getting the very best food and care. And when you were born, every one of you was the picture of health. Even you, Viola, who was the littlest Niblet for a long time.

Once upon a time, you were adorable, little things that fit in a single hand. Now you are adult cats and we have no doubt that wherever you are, you are magnificent felines.

Fosterers often wish for and love getting updates on their fosters but those don’t always happen. We are fortunate enough to get occasional messages about The Niblets, but little in the way of photos. That said, here’s a photo of sweet Illy (Tiger) and Winter (Lily) shortly after they were adopted together:

We are thrilled to share Viola growing up on colehauscats.com. Her mama raised her, her sisters and brother to be strong, fiercely independent cats just as she is. Though they are mother and daughter, Zuzu and Viola spend almost no time together. They are their own cats, independent of one another. This is one of the last photos of Viola spending time with her mama, having preferred spending time with big sister Illy:

Viola gets along with every cat at Colehaus Cats, even newest addition Sunny. She snuggles with Quint often, though prefers her “Me” time most of all. Happy Birthday, bunny bun. May you celebrate many, many, many more!
