A quick update on Sunny: Her urine test came back after a week of medication and she got a gold star! Her UTI is completely gone. Thank you for all your generosity and good thoughts! Her next step will be going for her first ever dental appointment in mid-October. We’ll talk more about this in a later post.

09/28/2016 – Two-Word Wednesday

In other non-two-word words, today we take Sunny’s um, urine to the vet so they can see if her UTI is gone or not. We sure hope so! She was on a special, culture-specific antibiotic for a week and she let us know she was feeling better after day five when Mom started wearing more of the liquid medication than was getting down Sunny’s throat! That girl is an extra tough one to medicate.

Well, somebody’s feeling a bit better! Sunny leaps from a counter in the kitchen over the wide chasm to the island, something only springy-legged Viola and danger cat Tessa ever do. We probably had dinner ingredients out on the island before preparation because we are certain she didn’t jump over there to check out her daily Veraflox medication! Only another day or two of that stuff and both she and Mom will be glad that’s over with.

Earlier this month we told you about someone who was being mischievous by jumping to the very top of the kitchen cabinets. Seems that’s become a trend.

Or maybe it’s just a phase and maybe Viola will get over this one pronto because Mom isn’t happy about it in the very least!
