Today, tile is going up in our shower. A little bit was done late last Friday; we’ve been assured today the rest will go up. If so, tomorrow, grouting begins, and in a few days, sealant goes onto the grout (which also contained sealant). Mom is a HUGE anti-fan of grout but the alternative, in her mind, is just as bad. At least we were smart enough to not put tile on the shower floor!
Last Friday, some ants wandered in when workers were coming and going and Quint and Mom have been on ant-watch ever since. While not a good at spotting them as Pia is; she’s a Master bug hunter, Quint’s got sharp eyes and Mom’s quick with the Zevo “pet-safe” bug spray.
Of course, Tessa’s “helping” watch for ants. “Nothing here,” she assures us. Sure, Tessa, whatever you say. Don’t let ants bother your nap.
I think I see one, Mom! Is that an ant? What is that creepy crawly thing??
Where? Oh, hey! That’s not very nice, Olivia! Viola is NOT an ant!
