Don’t laugh. I’m only wearing this silly thing because Dad said it would make Mom happy. I’m notoriously uncooperative when it comes to things being put on my head. I already have things on my head; my fur. Oh, and my ears. I don’t need anything else. But sometimes, Mom insists. Well, she tries. I insist her efforts are silly.

Dad said I ought to be a sport and try it just once, for my Mom. After some negotiation that touched on the return of my crinkle paper-filled Island Box, I agreed to the following:

I will allow Mom to place one or more toys on my head, not to exceed 5 toys, and photograph such as evidence of my cooperation. In good faith of this deal, Dad will replace my Island Box within 30 days with fresh crinkle paper to be changed out once a week. Further stipulations may occur at a later date.

I wanted Mom in on the deal as well but she’s having what she calls an “interesting” time at work this week. I don’t know what she’s complaining about. I’m the one with a braided fabric worm on my head. That box better be coming along soon!
