Pia left us a year ago this weekend and Mom still gets weepy when thinking of her. So many very special cats have entered our lives over the past 40+ years. Pia was one of those and even more so because she was the last in an almost 50 year string of female orange cats that called Mom their own.
Sometimes grumpy, always opinionated, Pia was independent and preferred to be her own cat. After her surrogate kitty mom Miss Newton passed in 2019, Pia choose to live her own life on her terms without interaction with any of those other cats she had no use for. But she always gave time to Dad and Mom. We’re remembering Pretty Pia today, our last ginger diva princess and we hope you’ll think of her for a moment, too.
