In lieu of Viola, our official greeter of new months and whapper of fruit off counters, who was taking her third, or maybe fourth nap of the morning, Tessa approved the day’s fruit. Tessa is the official food tester at Colehaus though she prefers the tasting of cheese and ground turkey, neither of which are affordable much any more. Sorry, Tessa, it’ll have to be overripe raspberries today.
Today’s May Day, a day that once consisted of anonymously giving flowers to neighbors and somehow morphed into Marching, Protesting and eventual Evening Riot Day. We’re not sure how that happened. Maybe someone didn’t approve their morning berries? Tessa, could you help out with that?
