05/01/2024 – Hello May!

Mr. G, formerly known as Murray, says Hello to the month of May, one of his favorite months. One year ago, he finally came up to Mom who had patiently waited for him to do so, and accepted his first petting. That was soon followed by an introduction to brushing, catnip chicken treats, and snoopervising all things garden-related in our backyard.

Mr. G’s garden skills include pouncing on wayward bark nuggets, reminders of perennial color compliments versus clashes, a brief explanation for why semi-sprouted decorative grasses don’t make the best bed for snoozing, and reasons to feign disinterest in birds whenever Mom is present.

In short, Mr. G is an excellent garden cat. His brother, Stubbs, a.k.a. Bunny, isn’t bad either.
