Aww, sweet Tessa. Relaxed, comfy warm and unaware that she has a vet visit coming up next month. No need to alarm her just yet. Pulling the cat carrier out of the closet a day or two before the event will do that just fine.

Now, here’s a good boy who doesn’t have to be kept in the dark. His vet visit was last week and he was a very good, brave boy. But we know that when his sister’s turn comes, he’ll run and hide again. Does any cat not run at the sound of a cat carrier? Or do we just have a noisy one with its metal door that rattles as though to say, “Ha! I have you now!”
As for Viola, she’s not afraid of the carrier. Talk about being brave!

Her vet visit was months ago (after breaking off a tooth) and she knows she’s golden.

As per tradition here at Colehaus, we’re abstaining from blogging on Wednesday, April 1st, the shenanigan-filled day of April Fool’s Day. Enough said about that. See you again on Friday.

Ignorance is bliss, Tessa. Of course Quint is a very good and brave boy. He is a ginger, I wouldn’t expect anything less! Viola snoozes happily knowing she is safe.
Mom keeps our carrier out all the time. Sometimes Reesie will sleep in it!
Yeah, Tessa…just rest easy.
Good luck at the vet Tessa. XO
Mudpie is actually really good with the carrier. I leave it tucked away until the last minute and then launch a sneak attack MOL.
Such lovely cats.
We leave our carrier out, it takes away a lot of the fear when it becomes just another object.
We’re purring that Tessa has a good vet visit. We leave a carrier out at all times. Ava actually sleeps in there once in a while. Target, not so much. 🙂
