This is the last glimpse of Quint Mom sees before heading out the door and off to work at oh dark thirty each day. Is Quint seeing Mom off because he knows she won’t be home for 13 hours and will miss her? Or is he simply waiting for Mom’s prep for work commotion to end so he can snuggle back in bed with Dad and nap until whenever cats feel like getting up? Which likely is until a litter box calls, some food begs to be eaten and a drink from a kitchen faucet is needed. Then, very shortly after, sometime around noon-ish, 2nd nap begins.
Hurry up, Mom! Go to work!
