07/20/2020 – A Story as told by Tessa

A story? Really, Mom? I’m not big on stories, even those about me. Unless I’m being lectured about something I may or may not have done. I can whip up a good one then, should I need it. Need I say more?

I do? Hmm, okay. Hey, how about a story in pictures. I hear those are good. Show ’em some, Mom. Pick my best ones, please. I’ll add commentary where needed.

Here’s me at oh dot thirty every single morning when Mom’s getting ready for work. I do not like getting up this early but I do like being under this chair. Mom says it look like I’m in jail. She’s making it harder for me to continue liking it. Don’t you have work to get to, Mom?

Here I am, un-jailed. Still under my favorite chair. Of course, Mom isn’t here to see this. Mom, shouldn’t you be home to witness such important events? Tell them that at your work so they’ll understand.

Don’t know what I was doing here. Maybe it was a balance check or something. I’m sure it was important and that’s all anyone needs to know.

Mmm, nice.

Here’s my toes. I have black and pink ones. I like them well enough.

Okay, now we’re talking! Dinner! It looks like I got two cans but those are empty ones for me to lick. I have half a can in my favorite blue bowl. I’ll get to those cans in a minute.

That’s about it. Everything important has been shown. Don’t listen to Mom or Dad who Never.Let.Past.Mistakes.Lie. I’m a gray and white Tuxie girl and there’s bound to be certain havoc-ridden activities from time to time. That’s part of being a Tuxie. Truth! So, go kiss a Tuxie today and have a good one!

  1. Well, that’s quite the story, Tessa. 😉

  2. Tessa, humans really have no concept on how cats live their lives; we just make stuff up as we go along.

That’s some action-packed day. I like your bowl. I shall try to persuade my old man and old woman to buy me one like it. I’m not sure they’ll understand. They are a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to my demands.
