Is it summer yet? It feels like summer. It’s hot like summer and I feel like I’m melting. All the summer birds are outside visiting. All the spring flowers are gone (Mom says they aren’t). It just feels so much like summer.
It’ll be officially summer in ten days. There’s no reason why you can’t go ahead and enjoy these pre-summery days by taking pre-summer naps, Quint. Don’t you feel like one of those right now? Look, we’ll even turn on a fan so you won’t be all melty.
Ah, that’s better. Maybe a nap is in my future!

Oh Quint; we don’t like knowing that you are feeling all melty!
I saw a firefly yesterday; usually don’t see them until well into summer…and it’s not even officially summer yet.
The weatherguessers say that we are getting weather from the Gulf of Mexico, as it draws up into The Great Lakes. I say, if I wanted hot, moist weather, I’d live down South!

It’s finally starting to get warm here again! It was so cool that my human was tempted to bundle up at bedtime.
Our weather man said that meteorological summer starts on Memorial day! And believe us, it went from the 70’s to the 90’s over night!

Maybe if you nap till Summer you will feel less Melty Quint. You will need some snack breaks though
