Comfortable, Yes. Thanks for asking!

We should all be so comfortable. 2012 © Colehaus Cats.

Oh gosh, yes! Comfort is the utmost of importance around here. It’s quite easy. One lies down, or lays down depending on your grammar skillz and upbringin’, then, turns to the side; I favor my left side due to an old war wound, a twist of the head to look at the ceiling – you never know when a bug worth looking at might be up there, a tuck of your chin against your leg, thrust an arm through the opening and throw the other arm overhead. Hold for up to one half hour. Easy as tuna cake.

Not exactly sure but we think some advanced yoga poses might be easier, Seth.

Shhhh, I’m Sleeping.

Sleeping Maxx. © Colehaus Cats.

What’s wrong with this photo? Where to begin, where to begin…

1) Under-exposed. We’ve never professed to be good photographers.
2) Over-exposure of thumb partially covering flash. See reason above.
3) The chandelier needs dusting.
4) Mom’s heart took fifteen minutes to settle down.

Nope, the oversized cat sleeping on the narrow ledge overlooking a twenty-foot dropoff where he knows he’s not supposed to EVER be couldn’t possibly be wrong.

(Everything turned out okay and Maxx was carefully removed from the ledge without incident. Whew!)

Who Needs Security? We’ve Got Watch Cat.

Our little watch cat. Seth. 2012 © Colehaus Cats.

When he’s not helping rearrange furniture or commenting on the lack of green decor (it’s an orange cat thing, he insists), Seth stands watch. This window, that window, the window over the kitchen sink, upstairs, downstairs. What is it that grabs his attention so?

One guess: It’s got nothing to do with furniture.
