Today, you baby Niblets are six months old and we know you are just as adorable now as you were on that sunny autumn afternoon when you came into the world.

We were pretty excited to welcome you then as we are in knowing you all have great homes now. Keep being good kitties and make your mama Zuzu proud.

Viola, you continue to amaze us with your ability to make friends. We are so proud of you, brave girl, for jumping in to snuggle with almost everyone in the house while not fearing the vacuum cleaner one bit. And you know how much vacuuming is always going on around here!

We’re very pleased with your effort to spend the nights outside of mom and dad’s bedroom so they can sleep. We’re certain that loud purr of yours will only become more endearing the older you get. But not at 2:21 in the morning. Nor at 3:10. Ditto for 4 a.m. when you’re most apt to add licking mom’s face. Must be working on returning those million kisses, huh?

Your leaping skills are far beyond your months, we’re certain. Those long cheetah legs are like springs!

And even though this is a special day, we going to remind you again that the countertops are off limits. You don’t see your mama up there. Follow her lead, Viola.

So you’re becoming more independent and noticing more things around the house. No, the ceiling fan isn’t something to aspire to jump onto. Neither is the bedroom chandelier though count us impressed that you gave careful thought to this.
