*shakes head* This is simply not true. Why, just the other day, I was counting the bottles in this rack and thought to myself, “Yep. The same number as last week.” Then I wondered, “Wouldn’t counting the empty slots be more revealing?”

But I won’t lie. The job has its perks too. Sometimes, when something good is going on, I, alone, need to be in the forbidden zone, otherwise known as the dining room table because I’m working. I’m gathering incriminating evidence investigating! Do you think I care that I’m where I’m not supposed to be?

In other news, Maxx and Tessa went in for their yearly v-e-t checkups yesterday and both came through with flying colors! In fact, big boy Maxx (sometimes known as Mr. Bubbles, the Drama Cat), who has been on a diet for over a year, has gone from sixteen pounds four ounces to fifteen pounds one ounce. Our v-e-t was very happy about that and we are too. Way to go, Mr. Bubbles!
