Thank you all for making Pia and Dexter’s anniversary day very special! Let’s hope all those Pia-Mobiles don’t scare anyone, okay? MOL!

After yesterday’s anniversary celebration, and when not gazing into her Mancat Dexter’s eyes, Pia’s decided her new favorite toy is D’s nippy pillow. She carries it around everywhere! Upstairs, downstairs, on the couch, under the dining room table. We even caught her snoozing with it. Poor little thing. She was exhausted from all the day-long excitement. But, she loves that pillow, Dexter! Thank you, Dexter’s mom!

But of course, because they couldn’t meet up in person, Pia and Dexter exchanged gifts. Pia sniffs good whiffies from D’s package while Olivia shoots lazer eyes in the background. “How come she gets a box?” Olivia asked as if she’s never received anything in her whole life.

Pia’s favorite color is purple from way back when she was but a wee kitten. Dexter remembered this and included a special love letter to her printed with violet flowers. She is one happy girl!

Before opening Dexter’s gifts, it was time for playing with the purple crinkly paper. Naturally.

There’s a nippy mousie, a crinkle ball, and a jingle ball… all the appropriate color. A nippy pillow and kick stick made extra tough so she can’t chew through them to get at the tasty nip inside.

There’s the sweetest, bagged container of “Fleur de Nep;” special nippy flowers to sprinkle wherever she wishes to have sweet dreams of her loving mancat. And a feathery ball that got quite the workout right away. Because, sometimes, that’s required.

But what caught her attention above all others was a framed photo of D. Pia loves gazing at Dexter’s photo, always has, ever since she first saw him over at Cherry City Kitties early last year.
