“… and converting multiples to a single incident we find a simple example is the calculation of density based on measured displaced volume and mass, thereby similarly calculating utilization based on usage and availability such as statistics based on grouping of repeated runs to better understand how a factor influences process variations…”

Fascinating! I love this book, Dad, based on your terrific reading and comprehension skills. Keep going. I’m all ears!

Quint keeps in shape – 2014 © Colehaus Cats

It’s been a long, relaxing summer for Quint. But that doesn’t mean he gives his paws a break. No fat or flabby paws here!

True to his nature, he always lets us know when he’s ready to again dabble in paint. Good thing fall is in the air because you know what that means… new paintings!

“Almost there, mom! Is my studio ready?”

We played with color over the weekend and paint pressure technique. We thought maybe he’d want to return to his roots and use a soft touch for this fall season. He seemed to prefer something in between soft and bold, using gentle dabs on the breezy, blue background.

Maxx in September – 2014 © Colehaus Cats

This is Maxx’s favorite time of year. It’s not chilly yet but getting there. He can be a snuggly cat when he wants to be, sleeping between us at night, burrowing down into the summer-weight comforter. He can be a bit of a bitey boy too when he wants to be, a leftover habit from his early youngster days spent out looking for food and a home… and maybe a TV remote control in the middle of the night. But overall, he’s just a big, lovey lug. That’s our blue-eyed Maxx.
