We feel so fortunate, with so many cats under the same roof, that all get along fairly well. Mostly. There are those days, occasionally. Some days, someone is complaining about someone pulling someone’s fur, or another day, someone else cries about a stolen toy. And to those, we usually say, “Tessa! Stop picking on your sister! You take that toy out of your mouth and give it back!” Or some such thing.

Speaking generally though, we have a good bunch.

The two kitchen faucet friends Tessa and Pia. Tessa lets the water drip on her paw which she then licks off (thusly wetting her thirst while cleaning her white mitten) and Pia just slurps up the trickle.

In the living room, Olivia naps on her favorite paw blanket while Viola, the Squirt, blissfully sprawls across the fuzzy blanket. Foster Miss Itty, doesn’t mind going blanket-less at the moment because she knows someone will move soon and that’s when she’ll nab their pre-warmed spot. That Miss Itty is a smart one.

Bed Buddies Ruby and Zuzu often stay in the master bedroom now, lounging, napping, ringing for treats to be delivered on silver trays… That Patrol Sergeant Zuzu has been easing up on her duties lately, choosing to spend quality “Me” time over laying the smack down on tussling cats. After a good cleaning, here she asks Ruby if she missed anything.
