Tomorrow is Viola Niblet and all the Niblets’ 5th Birthday! Can you believe it? Five years? Already? Yep! Look for a rare Thursday post from us tomorrow, a Dear Niblets letter from us to all of the Niblets, wherever they now are, wishing them all the best, plus links to all previous Dear Niblet letters and photos, so many photos! Honestly, we really should have written a Dear Niblets book!

Oh Hey! Sorry about that yawn. Not exactly how I planned to start today, but there it is nonetheless. Mom asked if I wanted to announce a little change to our blog. No biggie, just with her working every Friday and being unable to monitor comments and spam and the like, we thought it might be best for the time being to switch our blogging days from Monday, Wednesday and Friday to Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. That way my Mom won’t double stress herself with worrying if the blog is going all haywire, when things at her job are already doing that.

Sure, Tessa. Whatever you say. I also wanted to let you know that this Thursday is baby sister Viola Niblet’s 5th birthday! And Mom and Dad have a 5 year Dear Niblets letter planned. We hope you can come visit! Now, see how well that blog day switch worked out?

09/28/2018 – F is for Friday

What the FIDDLESTICKS, Mom??!!?? It’s Friday and it’s Four in the morning!

Mom gets up at four a.m. each Friday to ready herself for her job that starts at 6 a.m. and ends twelve hours later. Ditto both Saturday and Sunday mornings, each shift being twelve hours long. This gives her Monday through Thursday to take Dad to any job interviews, should ANY ever come his way (not a single one yet, not even any call-backs because places seem not to do that anymore. And yes, he’s applying for second-level jobs now).

Mom also says her long work shifts are worth it to keep snuggly-under-the-blankets Pia in the manner of which she’s become accustomed. See you later this evening, Beanster!
