Today is Tessa’s turn at a vet visit. She doesn’t believe it. Sure, the PTD has been sitting out since Quint took his turn three weeks ago. A carrier cover blanket, a soft, clean towel, and a just-in-case pee pad are sitting close by, waiting to go. She might have gotten a clue. Hopefully, Mom won’t telegraph her intent until the moment Tessa’s scooped up and placed inside. But it doesn’t always go smoothly, not with Tessa. Not by a long shot.
About a month ago, Tessa felt under the weather. She was having a hard time eating, she was drooling, and her chin was swollen. We think she’s having dental issues and perhaps had an abscess. This is the soonest she could get into our vet and of course, she’s feeling much better now. Still, dental issues don’t go away on their own. The vet will know. Accepting all good thoughts for her trip today!

Quint’s potential UTI tests came back negative! Though he’s entered into the early, early, earliest of stage one kidney disease, no UTI is great news! Thank you for your good thoughts and kindness during and after his vet trip. It all helped!
