This morning, we heard a commotion outside that sounded like something being dragged and then dropped. Mom went out the side garage door to investigate.

Oh, hi!

Millie!, Millie, did you just spill that food??

Food? What food?

Oh. Oh! Is this food? I hadn’t noticed!

I did not spill this food. I vehemently deny spilling this food or any food like substance like food. Nope, not me.

Millie, I know you pulled that bowl out and spilled it all over. I know it was you.

Okay, fine. I spilled the food. Yes, I did it and I’m not sorry. You humans are always making yourself feel superior over us cute animals. I admitted it. Are you happy now?

Millie, you could have eaten the food out of the bowl when it was up in the feeding station. You didn’t need to pull the bowl out to spill all over. Now the ants are going to get it. Someone has to clean that up, you know. Unless you plan on eating it all?

Well, it is pretty good food. I just might eat it all.

And maybe I’ll save some of this tasty, tasty food for later. Say, has anyone thanked you lately for setting out this very tasty food? And might I add, you look very pretty today in those mismatched pajamas and that bed head thing you’re rocking there.

Millie, you are going to clean that up, right?

Well, I’ve got to run, lots of errands and things to do today. Gotta pick up the dry cleaning, a little grocery shopping, maybe lunch with the ‘possums. Thanks again for the foods!

Hey! Who’s going to clean this up? Millie!
