Yeah, Mom, what if someone actually sends me seven swans? Have you thought about that, what kind of havoc that would cause? Because I’m thinking I could NEVER get into the kind of trouble seven swans could drum up. And a-swimming swans at that, meaning someone’s gonna have to send a pool or a lake or something along with those birds. Where are we going to put a pool, or a lake??
And what’s up with all the birds in that song anyway? I’ll just never figure that one out . . .
I’ll just sit here and look cute while you figure out the answer. Kind of makes me not look so naughty now, doesn’t it?

As long as they do not perform activities similar to the Canadian Geese that fill our yards this time of year, we’d suggest you welcome the swans … play Tchaikovsky for them, who knows what lovely things they’ll do!

Seven swans would take up our whole living room, Tessa! We kind of hope WE don’t get them here, either. Well, maybe we could keep them in the backyard. 🙂
