10/28/2019 – Monday Memories

While we’re still *hunting for current photos of the Colehaus Cats after hard drive meltdowns, let’s look at a few from 2014:

Here’s a dignified Pia Bean from late summer 2014. Pia is always dignified. Yeah, she knows she’s a princess.

Not as dignified, but thankfully not in any trouble in this shot, Tessa demonstrates her classic Tuxi crossed paws/arms pose.

Not one to care one bit about being dignified or not, Viola Niblet is just about the same now as she was in 2014 – curious, curious, CURIOUS about EVERYTHING.

Now here’s an oldie. Vincent a.k.a. Vince was a blue-eyed, long-haired Turkish Van found during an ice storm at an apartment complex we once lived in. He was covered head to toe in mats and ice and with no owner to be found, we kept him. He tolerated being fur-clipped fairly well and loved his dad like no other.

This goes to show that sometimes, searching for files can uncover things that haven’t seen the light of day for decades. Mom honestly believed no digital photos of Vince existed.

*[Author’s edit] Files have been found, including Photoshop Elements! Just a few more tweaks and we should almost normal again!

  1. Great memories. And we so glad things have been found…and you can get back to normal. 🙂

  2. You’ve really caught their personalities in those photos, they are so precious!

  3. Zoolatry says:

We so love it when our pet friends revisit “memory photos” … maybe because we enjoy looking back into our own old files as well. These are all beautiful kitties, beautifully photographed … special memories for you … enjoyed by us! Thanks for sharing.

  4. Katie Isabella says:

Bless him and you two as well for helping him in hs great need.

  5. I do not recall seeing Angel Vince before…what a handsome mancat.
I’ve been scouring my photo library, deleting a ton of crap, and have found some gems in the process. I am learning to make folders to tuck these treasures into. Do you recommend PhotoShop Elements?

  6. Ellen Pilch says:

Great shots. Vince was a handsome boy. XO

  7. Felinity says:

SO very sorry you got the RTMF (Royal Technological Middle Finger)! Been there, done that…y’all don’t wanna know.

Relax and get yourselves both reconstituted and reorganized…whatever. Pour some Apothic Red (or White) and keep the munchie accompaniments away from the kitties!

    Blessings from Blairsville, GA

  8. Rene says:

That is great that you’re nearly got your files back. I love finding “missing” photos like that.

  9. These are some great memories from five years ago. Viola with the bowl is our favorite. Really inspecting the bowl. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos. Have a great day.

  10. Brian Frum says:

Those were great and thanks for sharing Vince with us. Hooray for found files!

  11. Oh noes! Best to upload on cloud from now on 🙂 . Mom does that too.

Hope you can somehow recover the photos. Love you all.

  12. Summer says:

Cute pics – and how cool you found the photo of Vince!

  13. Carolyn Kristof says:

Pia, no matter what the pose, you are always my special Ginger Princess and little bean! Love always, your ginger prince, Dexter.

  14. If there’s a face-off between Tessa and dignified … out money’s on Tessa!
