Roving Reporter Olivia back on duty after a long absence. Actually, I was simply gathering dirt information on some of the goings-on around here. And there have been a LOT of goings-on.

BTW, please ignore any linty bits you might see on my photos here and feel free to write this blog creator to voice your displeasure in viewing this lovely black house panther with LINT ON HER! I did, and it worked wonders for her attitude!

Now, where were we? Back on duty, gathering dir, er, info, linty bits, hmmm, oh yeah, did you know Pia has a white belly? It’s TRUE! All these years, she’s been hiding it!

See? Here’s photographic evidence! And to think she’s been pushing herself off as a pure ginger princess. HA! Ginger princess with a white princess belly! What this means is that I, your humble reporter, am the ONLY solid, one color cat in this house. Who’s special now, huh? I ask you, who is special now?

Okay Olivia, we have to step in here. We know of a sweet black house panther who just happens to live here and who, while being beautifully shiny black, just happens to have a little white patch on her chest, and who has had that cute white patch oh, since kittenhood. Ring any bells with you, Olivia?

Bells? No, not really. Unless you’re talking about that ding dong little sister of mine. Dad, don’t you have somewhere else to be right now?

May I present another bit of photographic evidence: The baby on the very plastic bags she knows not to be sitting on. Honestly, we hear a warning every time Mom comes home from the grocery store. “Don’t mess around with these bags and get off the counter. __Insert cat name here____, this means you!” But did the baby listen? Of course not. Did she get into trouble? What do you think? She’s The Baby. She never gets in trouble.

Speaking of never getting into trouble . . . (and don’t you find it almost unnatural that a cat would never get into trouble??), my brother Quint just sits around looking handsome most of the time and the other part of the time, he does something goofy.

Like here. Really, does that look comfortable to you? He does this All.The.Time.

My other sister Tessa couldn’t care less about getting into trouble. In fact, she flirts with some form of trouble almost every day. Shocking, I know! Here, she looked all innocent with her big rabbit feet, that Mom insisted upon kissing (eeEEEWWW!), but mere hours before, she was arguing with someone at the end of the hall over who was King of the Tower. Arguing LOUDLY, as in the top of her lungs, making Dad yell at all of us to knock it off. Can you imagine? All of us getting yelled at because Tessa was yowling? Oh, the unfairness of some days!

Are you done ratting us out yet, sister Olivia? Because you’re bothering me. And you aren’t really sharing any dirt. Everyone knows all this. So, I ask you . . . do you have a point?

*grumble grumble* No one appreciates a reporter’s job and the hours one puts in gathering this kind of important information. Consider this reporter’s job done, for today. Over and out!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Yippee for Dad getting his stitches out! He’s healing well and is back on his customer support/phone job as of today. Mom’s dreading the medical cost bills that are coming but knows we’ll get through this somehow. Thank you so much for your good thoughts and kind words!
