Best buddies Quint and Tessa celebrate the reintroduction of the bench we had stored elsewhere for a few years (so certain kitties named Tessa won’t rip the sisal-covered thing to shreds). Now taking bets on how long before the bench is, once again, packed away for safe keeping.
Celebrating Best Blooper Pose of the Month is a blurry Viola who was way, way up on top of the kitchen cabinets, spying down on an unaware Mom who was fixing her morning tea before leaving for work. Because wouldn’t this be the best place to peer down on an unsuspecting someone?

Near-freezing fall weather found us over the weekend, making Mom happy that last week she cleaned out our two feral shelters, filled them with fresh straw and plugged in the heating mats. And she’s extra happy knowing Wally and one of the other neighborhood cats are sleeping overnight in them. Whew! Just in time!

Wow, I am proud of you that you reworked the feral houses before the bad weather set in! I will fuss with ours later this month; a good sweep out, new straw, and the warming pad with a new denim cover. And Tessa, we have old chairs with the same kind of wrapping; Da Boyz did some damage, but now they’ve become bored. But as Angel Whiskeratti commented, you’ve been slandered! 😉
