For the last few weeks, Mom’s been working lots of unexpected overtime. Someone signed her up for work classes that bled over into her days’ off, and while the classes were good, very good, in fact, Mom got the equivalent of a single half a day off per week over three weeks. So much work to do at home that all had to be put on hold, including the need to cancel and reschedule bathroom contractor visits. That was a first. Us cancelling instead of them.
As to be expected, Mom has been very tired. But not too tired to take care of some overdue business!
The good thing is, Pia acts happier now. And she feels like velour so naturally, she gets more petting. And she doesn’t mind daily brushings, something she despises when her fur is long. Go you, pretty Pia!
Until Mom gets back to a regular work schedule, posts may or may not continue spottiness. Thank you for sticking with us.

It’s Dad’s special day today and surprisingly enough, he has the day off. He doesn’t celebrate it but it’s pretty certain five cats will give him extra attention today. Tessa, this doesn’t mean you have free rein to pick on your little sister.
