Someone’s settling in for a nice, summer nap. And only his third of the day!
The next kitty to need a vet visit is Olivia. Over the past few weeks she’s lost weight. Always thin and light, even a pound or two lost really shows on her. She’s eating marginally well but has taken to having Mom feed her individual kibble bits (while counting each one in French), and needing FortiFlora sprinkled over her wet food. She isn’t jumping up on counters or chairs like she used to just two months ago, and is sleeping alone, not with her bedmate brother Quint. We’ll get her in to the vet as soon as they can find an appointment on Mom’s day off (they are closed on Mom’s other day off), and hopefully, find an answer for her weight loss. She’s eleven years old now, not terribly old, but a reminder that our cats are aging. Give yours a gentle hug today!
