Olivia and Viola’s power struggle continues. Thankfully, Viola’s peeing on the floor has not, though everyone seems to want to use the downstairs litter box now at least once a day, if for no other reason than to make sure their smell is in it.

Meanwhile outside, during one of Lloyd’s visits, Mom offered him a chicken/catnip treat . . . and Lloyd loved it so much, he accepted pets! He’s so handsome! Mom says his fur is thin in spots and rough and she thinks he could use a good brushing. So, that’s her mission. To lure him in with treats, then get him used to being brushed. If he likes it, maybe brushing will replace the treats. And Mom promises photo proof coming soon!

Someone who isn’t swayed by treats is Tippy. He has just a bit more street-smarts than Lloyd, we think. He loves the chicken/catnip treats but no way will he come any closer than four feet. Doesn’t stop him from rolling around flirtatiously nearby. We think he really does want to become friends. Maybe sometime this summer?

We’re taking Friday off since we’ll have workers here very early fixing one of our showers. After that, we can finally start working on scheduling our main shower repair, which looks like won’t happen until sometime in August now. Hey, it’ll only be five months without that bathroom by then!
