Mom knows this isn’t a flattering photo of me because I made good and sure she knew it. But the thing is, I don’t even care. You see, my Dad’s been working from home for a few weeks now and while I do love my Dad, I love my naps more. Do you know how many naps I’ve missed since he’s been working from home? Let me share my nap-less tally:
Missed naps on all Mondays going back almost before time began: 22.
Missed naps on all Tuesdays since almost forever: 18.
Missed naps on all Wednesdays, or maybe it’s all Thursdays; been so long its hard to remember: 14.
Missed naps on the other day that might be Thursday but might be Wednesday: 14-ish.
Missed naps on all Fridays, Saturdays, AND Sundays combined: 58.
So you see, friends, I figure I’ve missed . . . let’s see, 22 x 4 plus 18 over 12, carry the 6, multiplied by 243, divide by 0, add 5 times 1 equals . . . A WHOLE LOT of missed naps!! Frankly stated, I think my beauty sleep’s been compromised. I’m becoming a tired-looking orange cat instead of the Ginger Princess I really am! Quick! Someone get me some tasty treats and a pillow and get my Dad back to his job anywhere but here at home!

Oh no! Missing naps is not acceptable. Lexy and I have been able to sneak in our naps, luckily. And when we don’t, one of us makes sure we stick our head into one of her virtual meetings.

Whoa! You look worn and tattered and tired too. I’ve been sleeping a ton more with Pop working from home. I sit next to him and sleep all day and I do mean all day. Some days I don’t get up for dinner until his day is over.
Now you know what it’s like to have my human working at home here ALL the time, Pia!
