Seriously, Mom? More noise? I don’t like this!
I’m not happy to agree with my floofy sister but yeah, more noise? Really? This unhappy cat is unhappy, Mom.
Today, we’re having the outside-only windows professionally cleaned. Before you think, “Well, how fancy are you to have your windows professionally cleaned!” please note we have a two-story house and don’t have the 28 foot ladder required to get to the top windows. Also, when we had the white vinyl siding pressure washed last summer (for the first time in eight years and boy, oh boy, did it ever need cleaning!), the solution used on the vinyl dripped down the windows and dried there in big, long, wide white streaks that we’ve been looking at for 7 months. We thought our winter rains would eventually wash the windows clean but it seems we don’t get the rain like we used to, so, no. Still white stuff all over the windows. Until today. And yes, there will be noise.
Good thing we chose not have to have the inside glass cleaned for reasons that is another story for another time, and a job for our overly-industrious, work-a-holic Mom! It’ll be over soon, Pia and Tessa and everyone else hiding throughout the house.

I think I would pay a king’s ransom to have our windows washed, inside and out, upstairs and downstairs!
Kitties never much like noises that they aren’t accustomed to, and neither do us humans, come to think of it1
We have a two-story house too. Some of the windows can be reached by ladder and others we use the Windex Outdoor attached to a hose to reach. Seems to work ok. We hope it’s over soon, kitties!
Glad you are getting your windows cleaned. We really need a power cleaning on our siding. Sorry the kitties have to put up with the noise. XO
Noise is no fun, but you all will be able to see more out of your windows.
Ooh, that is gonna be loud, BUT at least you’ll have a better view out of the windows at all the stuff going around Colehaus!
The mom has our windows cleaned by the professionals too. She says it’s too much work…too many windows. But for my sake, she only has the outside done, like you, so strangers don’t have to come into the house to clean the insides. ~Ernie
