So, I was lounging in my Lounge Box; I call it that because it’s long enough for a long boy like me to stretch out and lounge in, while my Mom and Dad were having breakfast nearby and I kept hearing my name come up. I figured something was up and not wanting any part of that something, I ended my lounging and went upstairs.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make a fort or not, it wasn’t too cold but it was very bright. I couldn’t decide.
I asked myself, “Self, what do I want to do today? Make a fort? I do that every day. Do I want to lounge some more? I did that already. What to do? What to do?“
And myself answered, “Quint, you find the oddest predicaments. You’re a cat and a handsome ManCat at that. You like making forts, so I’m thinking you’re going to make a fort sometime today. Hey, maybe you’ll even lounge in your fort! That would be something. Oh wait, you do that every day. I know! Just keep sitting there, looking devastatingly handsome and I bet your Mom comes in and find something for you to do!”
Yep, I should’ve made that fort.
