Sometimes, we find ourselves with a bunch of photos that don’t really fit anywhere but the Miscellaneous folder. Here’s some of those.
Yep, it’s cold here, with ice and snow predicted most of this week, not that Quint is a chilly cat. That’s one of those radiant heat pads over him. All the Colehaus Cats go through phases wherein they will ignore all blankets, bedding and pads for months and months. Then, all of a sudden, it’s like they rediscover all the comfy and cozy bedding they have and each stake out their claims.
We’re not fans of cats on the kitchen counter, but they’re cats, so what can one do? *shrugs shoulders* Pia’s never been a fan of getting up on the counter, thankfully. But every great once in a while…
What can we say? This is Tessa, in a box. Of all the cat photos on the Internet, we think the number of photos of cats in boxes probably top everything. And here’s another.
Yes, those long, sleek ear tips are very kissable.
Toys are another thing that goes in phases around here. NO ONE will pay attention to these Ring o’ Fun/trackball toys for months, years even. And then, *poof* they are popular again! Go figure!
BTW, this is actually two trackball toys stacked together. The smaller blue one was angel Mama Zuzu’s and wee baby Viola’s favorite:

I ordered one of the magenta track-ball games when Chuck was still here, and both he and Angel ignored it. Chewy.com (I was ordering from them back then) sent me an email, asking me to review the toy, and I honestly typed in that my cats weren’t using it. Well, Chewy read my note, and they refunded the price back to me! Ha! When Da Boyz came to live with us, they took to that toy in a heartbeat, and Manny rolls it around every evening when The Hubby and I are watching the last bits of TV before turning in. We have to increase the volume because of his noise…

Katie does too. She stays addicted to her giant track ball though. Admiral loved it too but loved the smaller one. Katie said no smaller for her.
She went around the bend with her bread wrapper tie here last week and thundered like buffalo everywhere, batting and carrying it. Now.. it’s “what’s that thing mama?”
Quint, I will contain\nue to watch and wait until you get the feeling you want to int again. I have gifted two people but I still adore Starry Starry Night. That will remain forever.

We have lots of toys around here that never get played with. But then give us a milk ring or wadded up paper, and we’ll go to town with it. 🙂

The same things happen around here. We have ever-rotating favorite toys and sleeping spots. Our turbotrack is in the second bedroom – and if Momma’s in there for long enough, Ellie will start to play with it. But only if Momma’s in the room!
