Olivia, was that you we heard biting and ripping up that pillow from all the way upstairs?

Me? I’m just sitting here, quiet as… as… this pillow that has sworn not to tattle on who might have been roughhousing with it, as if anyone would do such a thing.

Olivia, you’re not going to tell us one way or the other, are you?

Our exciting bit of snow and ice are gone and we’re back to our usual Pacific Northwest liquid sunshine, also known around these parts as rain. Sure did make for some fun photos! Here’s a night shot of one of our Japanese maples wrapped in Christmas lights (that we weren’t able to remove before the snow hit). Please click for better viewing.

  1. Your Christmas lights look so pretty on your tree. We have got lots of rain too but fortunately up to now there’s no snow on the ground which would mean digging the car out of the drive.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  2. Olivia, we know you are innocent. Love your look. The maple looks great with the Christmas lights. You all have a great day.

  3. Me think that pillow made it´s way downstairs all by itself 🙂

  11. Sighs. Clearly, another case of Not Me. PS: you are such a lovely girl, Olivia.

  12. We didn’t see a mauled pillow anywhere. Did some kitty hide the evidence? The lights reflecting on the snow are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  13. Me thinks you hid the evidence, Olivia.

  14. Olivia we have had some strange noises when Dad is in the other room. I think it is those dust bunnies who live under couch causing all the commotion. Love your lights. We has a smattering of snow the other month and hope for some again. As long as it melts off fast that is.

  22. Snow is pretty when it’s somewhere that isn’t here and Olivia is innocent all the time. She has an alibi.
