Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the states and we want to express our thanks to all of you, located near and far, who visit and read our blog here. Our deepest gratitude goes to our dear angel Mary whose kindness is appreciated more than words could ever convey. Thank you.

We aren’t sure of the future and specifically, our future next year but in the meantime, we are thankful for having jobs, a sturdy roof over our heads, food for us and the kitties in the pantry, and for the ability to continue sharing Colehaus Cats with you.

Have a very happy Thanksgiving weekend. Stay safe and don’t forget to give thanks to all you love.

11/25/2024 – MultiCat Monday

Viola says she knows today is MultiCat Monday and wants everyone to know this is about as close as anyone’s going to get her and her older sister Pia together. After 11 years, we’ve given up hoping Pia would take someone under her wing like Angel Miss Newton did for her. That said, Viola Niblet has always been ultra independent, just like her Angel Mama Zuzu trained her to be, and the thought of being “under Pia’s wing” would probably make her cringe.

These two, Tessa and Quint, while not best of friends, often sleep in the same general area early on cold mornings – Tessa on top of the tower because . . . she’ll tell you SHE IS TOP CAT, and Quint, when not snuggled in his personal blanket fort, LOVES the heated mat tucked inside this tower cubbie.

Last weekend, Mom set up seasonal props for potential e-Christmas cards. According to Quint, the second order of business, after looking at Mom as if she’d lost her mind (that’s a given), was to chew on said props. Oh, Quint. Really?
