Now, here’s something you don’t see every day. Of course, by the looks of Pia’s airplane ears, she didn’t see terribly happy that Mom captured the moment. Pia, you’re the only girl we know who could be snuggled up on a fleecy, cat-approved blanket in a quiet part of the house with no one horning in on your selected spot, and look angry about it. That said, we’re sad to report she hasn’t received any treats served on a silver platter in quite a long time. Maybe she’s been counting the days/months.

GEEZ, LOUISE! Treats served on a silver platter? Good grief! Someone’s been spoiled way more than they ought to be!

When will it be warm, Dad? Didn’t someone say spring was here last month? Sure doesn’t feel like it. Does it feel like it to you?

It is spring, Quint, just a cool one. Better than a hot one, right? Remember a couple of years ago, when it was hot this time of year and all the flowers outside lasted less than a day? It’ll warm up soon. There’s lots of warm and hot days ahead. In the meantime, you have your fleecy fort blanket there.

Mom came home after half a day at work yesterday, claiming she wasn’t feeling well. Yet, there she is, outside, working in the backyard and making all kinds of noise. Does Tessa look bothered to you? Maybe from being woken up from her 5th afternoon beauty nap!
