It was a nice, snowy day here at Colehaus a couple of weeks ago. We were enjoying a bit of unusual snowfall, when we spotted something…. amiss, under the bird feeders.

01/22/2016 – Friday Flashback

Friday Flashback? But why?

Because we wanted to do a Flashback piece.

But it’s Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day.

And didn’t we just answer one? Oh yes, we think we did.

You guys don’t play fair.

Sure we do, and while we’re fishing out the treats bag, you know, in the meantime, here’s a sweet Friday Flashback.

Back in 2012, this exact photo caught our eye when we were looking to increase our family. Her name was Boo and she lived with a wonderful foster mom nearby. Boo wasn’t quite ready for adoption yet but that didn’t stop us from falling in love immediately.

Look! You can already see those mischievous diva eyes and the cutest button nose.

A few weeks later, Boo came to us and became Pia. This is her very first Colehaus Cats photo. From the start, she was ridiculously photogenic and if memory serves right, we looked through her paperwork to make sure there wasn’t some kind of modeling agency mixup. She had the open mouth showing baby teefs, the kitten tilt-head thing, and the plush toy kitten fuzz looks all down pat. And that ear fluff! She sure knew how to tug at one’s heart, and still does.
