Show us someone who takes lots of pet photos and we’ll bet they have lots and lots of photos that don’t turn out exactly as envisioned, yet aren’t quite bad enough to delete. We’re guilty of this and have a folder dedicated to miscellaneous photos that don’t fit into any of the other folder categories (and we have LOTS of categories). Hence. . . Miscellaneous Monday!

Here’s our crazy, not-a-care-in-the-world sister Sunny laying on the rug while Mom’s trying to vacuum. Sunny doesn’t mind being vacuumed but no, silly, not with the rug beater bar attachment!

Mom finally hung our signs in our Cat Den, after repainting it LAST JANUARY! BTW, she says someone on ebay has the Wayward Cats signs for sale now. These things seem to sell out quickly!

Also, Second Nature by Hand sells the Always Be Your Cat sign on reclaimed wood. There’s a t-shirt out there somewhere, probably on Amazon.com, that says the same thing. (And obviously, printed on cotton, not on reclaimed wood. Obviously.)

And now, time for a couple of bloopers. Shouldn’t our brother Quint’s blooper be known as a blepper?

Our sister Ruby sometimes toys with the camera. She’s pretty good at it, too!

When our sister Tessa gets into trouble, Mom puts her thumb on Tessa’s forehead and keeps it there for about a minute, you know, so Tessa will know who’s boss. Well, over the weekend, Tessa was getting into so much trouble, and seeming to enjoy it, we think she was putting her own foot on her forehead to tease Mom who saw absolutely no amusement in the action whatsoever.

Welcome to Friday’s Facts or Fibs! Today we’re listing five items that may or may not be true. Some are the absolute truth and two are wild statements without any truth whatsoever. Can you spot the fibs?

1 – Quint has never once meowed. He squeaks.

2 – Sunny enjoys being vacuumed from time to time.

Chilly Bean? – © Colehauscats.com

3 – When our past autumn suddenly grew colder than forecast, summer fur-shorn Pia wore a dog sweater for a few weeks.

4 – Olivia has, as her favorite toy this year, a stuffed trout as long as herself.

5 – Tessa often walks with her tail arched up over her back, the tip resting on her forehead like a hat.

So, how’d you do?

Answers: Numbers 1, 2, and 4 are facts. Yes, Sunny enjoys a light vacuuming from time to time. Numbers 3 and 5 are utter fibs. Really, could you see Pia in a dog sweater? We neither. And Tessa’s tail, while yes, she has a high-positioned tail with a strong arch, it’s a relatively short tail and doesn’t reach her head. . . though wouldn’t that have been something fun!
