We’re thinking August needs art this year. It’s very hot and dry here so why not bring some art into that mix? And we’re also thinking of “what if” scenarios today.
So, what if we posted an Art in August Cat Style photo every Wednesday? And, what if . . . we decided the first one was to take an average photo of Quint, lounging in a fleece bed, minding his own business (for once) and what if we decided to paint him on the side of a random concrete stucco wall. What would that look like?
Now we know. Boy, those front feets look like they could practically reach out and whap someone!
No, we’re not going to paint this (but wouldn’t it be glorious?). If you could do anything and decided to create art to celebrate it, what would you and your kitties do?

Also, what happens if you can’t grab the camera fast enough during a painting session with Quint? This happens. That boy still continues to hate, hate, hate seeing the camera while he’s painting. Don’t bother the artist, Mom!
