Olivia’s Things on Cats photo shoot didn’t go as well as one had hoped. What? You didn’t think Mom wasn’t still putting things on cats’ heads, did you? LOL!
I can do that blurry head thing, too! Anything Tessa can do, I can do better!
Pia sent a RSVP reply stating she would be anywhere but wherever it was that Mom was photographing today because of a conflict with this blog post’s subject matter. Smart girl!
Looks like we’re not going to get one of those stimulus checks. We didn’t file our 2019 taxes in time (before a president signed the bill), meaning the government will use our 2018 tax return in which Dad worked half a year putting us up over the income limit, just barely. Oh, well. We’ll keep hanging in there because:
For nearly an hour, Olivia sat at the TV watching all things cats. Who says public television isn’t the best thing ever?

Like many, we’re continuing to hang on with a mostly firm grip. Mom’s working between 40-to-58 hours a week, from 4 to 7 days a week, depending on her assembly employer’s agricultural parts supplies that mainly come from China. She’s seeing small acts of kindness here and there, both at work and at home. Thank you to whomever picked up the McDonald’s trash someone threw in our driveway last Friday morning. (We know who dumped that and no, we’re not planning on dying anytime soon of this “old people disease” so you and your millennial friends can take over our house for free. You can stop posting that dream on your Instagram page anytime.)
Dad’s still working 40 hours a week from home though it’s anyone’s guess for how long. He’s part of a customer support team for some bars, restaurants and sporting events across the country and most of those are closed.
Thank you again, all of you, who sent us a pantry full of food and personal supplies last December and January! Who knew toilet paper and paper towels would be in such short supply come April? Or canned chicken? Or flour, oatmeal, or soup? Thank you, thank you, thank you again! We still have food left and we hope you do too!
Keep hanging in there. We will get through this, one day at a time. Love and purrs to you from all of us here.
