“MOM!”
And then, Mom’s time to relax came to an end. In real life, Mom had a day off with pay yesterday, her first, and she spent it sleeping until . . . 7 a.m.! Then, it was time for laundry and cleaning and scrubbing bathroom floors and vacuuming and debating on whether to make chocolate zucchini cake or not (she didn’t feel like it, as if she would have time later in the week to make it. Ha!) and then, she remembered she needed some blog posts.
And so, here we are, back from Mom’s “vacation.”
Summer is wrapping up, for us with a massive windstorm yesterday and today that has all our allergies raging. Quint has crusty eyes, Pia has crusty eyes as does Olivia and Mom. We’re all looking forward to some rain, any rain, and the start of our rainy season in a month or two, though Mom’s a little sad for having to work 6-7 days a week over the entire summer and missing most of it. Her Around Colehaus end of summer photos will be coming up in a couple of weeks.
For now, we’re relaxing in a clean house with clean floors and clean bedding and waiting for Mom’s next day off so we can sleep late again. Oh, who are we kidding? We sleep late every day!

Still unable to use Facebook for either Mom’s personal page or our Colehaus Cats page. Cleared cookies, cleared everything, followed all suggestions, nothing. It only wants to log in under one person alone in this household – Dad. So frustrating all the time we’ve spent on this. We may have to go to Instagram and leave Facebook behind and this pains us horribly. All our friends, we can’t reach out to. But we have to do what ever it takes at this point. Grrr . . .
