11/16/2020 – MultiCat Monday

Snuggle bugs Quint and Tessa are often daytime nap snugglers. Quint snuggles with Olivia at night and in the early morning. Tessa snuggles with absolutely no one else, except maybe Dad in front of the TV.

Afternoon napper Olivia hangs out on the heated tower bed while naturally toasty puff ball Pia prefers the lower, ground-floor tower bed. Pia was playing shy today and simply refused to show her gingery face.

Tessa again. In the background is blurry Viola who is quite happy being this close/not-so-close to Tessa. For two girls who couldn’t possibly have had two completely different individual starts in life, their personalities are remarkably similar as grownups.

And because Viola wasn’t terribly happy with our blurry photo of her, here’s a slightly better one. Happy now, Viola?

11/13/2020 – Mysterious

I’m not really mysterious, though Mom thinks so. You see, I used to be aloof. I liked being aloof (because the world needs more loofs, I guess), but then, one day not so long ago, I discovered I could get all the petting and brushies I wanted if I just stuck around instead of running off to do my own thing (being aloof, apparently).

Now, I hang out with anyone sitting down and I get extra, extra attention. And I can say, with the utmost confidence, attention is GOOD! I don’t know why it took me so long to understand that. I guess, it’s a mystery. Hey! I am mysterious!
