Don’t you just hate it when a company says they’re going to do something, and you prepare for that thing to happen, often inconveniencing yourself and your loved ones in the process . . . and then, the company cancels at the last minute, or worse, never shows up in the first place? Don’t you?
Oh, the things we are learning in this shower leak/bathroom redo experience. For those keeping track and marking cards, we’ve been stood up four times now by three different businesses. We thought for sure someone would have called out, “BINGO!” by now. The company who was supposed to come fix one of our bathrooms last week, didn’t come out. Another weekend of showering out of a bucket.
Anyhoo, Dad may or may not have shower leak #2 repair workers in the house late today, and coming home late from work as usual, Mom may or may not have to try to sleep while they are still working. During all this, yet another company may or may not arrive to take flooring measurements around that ruined carpet.
Or, we can go through the rest of this experience being skeptics like Tessa, not getting all wrapped up in whether or not anyone will ever arrive, and of whom we should probably have listened to in the first place.
