. . . in other room, Pia was holding up one of the tower posts. Or so she said. Mom thought maybe Pia had a claw caught, but nope. Pia was just . . . stretching, or so it seems.
Mom also thought this was a great photo. She took it with her ancient phone, and it does look okay on that ancient phone. Once she uploaded it here, well, there’s probably a good reason Mom doesn’t rely on her phone for photos and this would be it. Oh, and Pia swears she wasn’t the one who ripped up the sisal on these posts, nor is she the one who keeps ripping them up despite Mom’s attempts to re-glue it into place.

Mom’s having a dilemma. She can’t seem to get anyone interested or excited about the upcoming holidays. Olivia sums it up best here. She’s napping, Mom starts going on and on about holiday this and that, Olivia opens one eye, yawns, then goes back to napping. Anyone else having this problem this year?
There’s been a lot going on in the world this year, the past few years, actually. So much happening, so much to keep up with. And we did just get an ultimate and expensive gift this year – our main bathroom rebuilt (still have that BIG hole in the downstairs ceiling to get fixed – Maybe Santa will come through?), and money is tight, as it always is, and as was last year, Dad has to work Thanksgiving Day and through the weekend, and this year, Mom has to work Christmas Day and the entire following week.
Mom’s not looking to make a big splash or anything. Just a few cooperative cats posing ever so nicely alongside some holiday decorations while Mom tries her best to get one or two good photos. She’ll do the rest and maybe she’ll have a Christmas card or two to share. That’s not too much to ask, right Olivia?
How about you, Quint? Can Mom get a little bit of excitement out of you?
