Of course, even better would be scratching the cat tower (with its woefully ignored Toasty Cat bed as witness). Viola, why don’t you try teaching that sister of yours to scratch here and not the cabinets?
Today’s the day! Today we’re finally having drywall installed to fix the ceiling hole created over a year ago by our upstairs shower leak! We’re excited, and a bit baffled why Tessa and Quint don’t seem to share our enthusiasm.
Okay, we can understand Quint hiding out in his blanket fort, but Tessa? We’re sure those workers need a good grumpy glare or two and who better for that job if not Ms. Grumps McGrumperson?
Well, the Colehaus Cats Twitter feed has been disabled, partly because our domain won’t pay the price Twitter is demanding, and partly because we won’t pay any price for tweeting. We’ll miss the old Twitter, even if we rarely visited. Another good thing left to memories only.
At the end of each month, we often have loads of photos that aren’t used. The reasons could be many, or few as in Mom just didn’t add one or two here and there. Lucky for you, Mom NEVER deletes cat photos and here are some that filtered down to the end of April.
Last Friday, we had a scorcher day that came out of the blue. Most everyone took naps; really, the only sane thing to do, we think. And while we don’t let it get hot in our house if we can help it, some kitties thought it was warm enough to air out the old belly furs. Not only did Dad pat that soft, spotted belly, Viola doesn’t mind a belly kiss now and then either.
You all know how enamored Quint is with his daily blanket forts. For a switch, Olivia decided to see what all the excitement was about, and then didn’t think it was all that great especially given that Mom was hovering nearby with a camera which we all know takes the fun out of EVERYTHING!
In her usual spot, atop the boo-fay where she has her own box (after Mom finally gave up trying to keep this certain cat from jumping up there), Tessa gives the camera man a grumpy glare because that’s Tessa and that’s what Tessa does best. Especially on Mondays.
