Happy December! We’ve made it to holiday season 2025! For whatever reason, cats just would not look into the camera lens for this year’s Christmas eCards. Sometimes, that happens. Sometimes, they are more interested in the holiday props – how to bat at them, how to bite them, how to knock them onto the floor, etc. Viola displays that same intensity that her angel Mama Zuzu did back in 2016, and so, we went with that.

Miss you, Zuzu.

This year, Quint was just as fascinated, or bored, with the matte-finish ornament balls we used back in 2016. Or maybe it was the Christmas IKEA rats. We still have those, patiently waiting and marinating in a catnip box. This just didn’t seem like the right year for Christmas rats.

For us, December brings Mom’s attempt to keep outdoor Christmas lights lit (she does pretty well), some holiday baking to keep costs and store shopping temptation as close to nonexistent as possible and indoor decorating at a tasteful minimum. We both have overtime work at our jobs coming up and honestly, we’re just looking forward to surviving through the end of the year. It’s been a long expensive one, wouldn’t you agree?
Lastly, we’d love to show you Tessa’s 2025 Christmas eCard, but she just wasn’t having any of it this year. That’s just sooo Tessa!

The cards are lovely. I have saved both.
Your cards are always simply stunning!
I love all of these shots. Thanks for the cards. XO
Any of these would work as a Christmas card. Yes, it has been a long expensive year.
Aww, we love both of your holiday cards, sweet friends! Thank you. XO
